This is where the Labubu story feels like dessert. Soft colors, shiny eyes, and that tiny grin that makes you think “just one more box.” V1 is the first pendant series that pulled so many of us in, and it still feels cozy and new at the same time.
V1 arrived in October 2023 as a blind-box pendant set, and it felt instantly familiar. Each figure pairs a plush body with a glossy vinyl face, so the texture is soft, the look is crisp, and the expression is unmistakably Labubu.
People call it “Macaron” for a reason. The palette is gentle, the tones are creamy, and the flavors read like a candy shelf you grew up wishing for. It is cute in a way that sneaks up on you, and then it is suddenly a habit.
There are six base variants in the set. Each one keeps the same Labubu silhouette, but the colors and little details give it a mood. You do not need to choose a favorite right now. They will each take turns being your favorite anyway.
There is one secret figure in V1 called Chestnut Cocoa. The odds are usually cited as 1 in 72 boxes, which is exactly the kind of number that turns a cute hobby into a small adventure. If you pull it, the room goes quiet for a second and then someone says “no way.”
The body is plush and soft to the touch. The face plate is vinyl with those high-gloss eyes and the little toothy smile. The head, arms and legs move, so posing is easy, and the gold-tone carabiner makes it ready to clip and go. It is simple in the nicest way.

Get it on AmazonOnce V1 made everyone fall in love, Pop Mart didn’t stop. The story kept going, and each new series added its own mood. If V1 was pastel candy, then V2 and V3 were the sequel albums you didn’t know you needed.
Released in July 2024, V2 brought Labubu into a calmer, seated pose. Each figure had a name like Hehe, Dada, Sisi, Baba, Ququ… plus a hidden DuoDuo. The expressions are quirky, sometimes tired, sometimes cheeky, and always very human. Collectors started trading them like crazy: “Got three Hehe, will swap for a Dada.”
By April 2025, the mood shifted again. V3 exploded in color, with tie-dye vibes and names like Love, Happiness, Loyalty, Serenity, Hope, and Luck. They felt more like mood charms than toys, with a shimmering secret variant hidden in the mix. V3 is where Labubu truly went cosmic.
Each series feels different, but together they tell one story: Labubu never sits still for long. If V1 hooked you, V2 and V3 will make sure you stay.
